Elk Festival on three octaves

Ełk Cultural Centre invites you to the music festival "Elk for three Octaves", which will take place on August 18-21 in the ECK amphitheater. On Thursday there will be a Summer Opera Gala, on Friday – Tribute To Michael Jackson concert. On Saturday we will hear a concert Cappella Gedanensis, and on Sunday will play the accordion trio "Motion Trio". Admission free.

Vii edition of the Classical Music Festival and not only "Ełk na Trzy Oktawy" is four evenings a musical feast where you will be able to listen to many great performers. Admission.

Thursday (18 August) - 19.00, ECK Amphitheatre

Concert "Usta They are silent, the Soul Sings"

  • Malgorzata Trojanowska — soprano
    It is award-winning winner of many vocal competitions. Since 2007 he has been cooperating with the Team Early Music by Diletto Anna Moniuszko, with whom she performed many works oratorio and opera. Repeatedly performed on the stage of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic and was a guest at festivals Music. She has received the artistic scholarship of the Mayor of the City several times Elk.
  • Aneta Łukaszewicz – Mezzo-soprano
    Polish Soloist Royal Opera. She is a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Music, which She graduated with honours in the class of Prof. Jerzy Artysz (2004). In college she was scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture. She started her concert activity already during her studies, taking part in performances of oratorio works by Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Pergolesi, Mozart, Rossini, Moniuszko, Szymanowski, Mahler. Performed alongside outstanding artists and has collaborated with many orchestras.
  • Rafał Żurek – tenor
    He graduated from ZPSM im. Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw at the vocal and acting faculty in the professor's class Jerzy Knetig and studies at the same faculty at the University of Music F. Chopin in Warsaw. Cooperates with theatres of the Polish Royal Opera and the Baltic Opera.
  • Tomasz Rak – baritone
    Tomasz Rak cooperates with the most important opera stages in Poland, m.in with the Theatre Grand National Opera in Warsaw. Long-time soloist of the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk, where he performed in numerous performances. He also gave concerts on many other prestigious stages such as the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels or Koningin Elisabethzaal in Antwerp, as well as in India and Canada.
  • Robert Marat – piano
    Pianist and teacher, professor at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. Alumnus music schools in Bialystok. He obtained his piano diploma at the Academy Musical in Katowice in the class of Prof. Andrzej Jasiński. He also studied chamber music, as well as playing the organ and harpsichord. He is a laureate of competitions piano and many awards in the field of chamber music. By three for decades he worked at the Academy of Music in Katowice. In 2012 he obtained the title of professor of musical arts. He is a teacher of music schools in Bialystok.

Friday (August 19) - 7.00 p.m., ECK Amphitheatre

Concert – Tribute To Michael Jackson - the greatest hits of the "king of pop" performed by young artists. There will be no shortage of such hits such as "Billie Jean", "Rock with You", "Smooth Criminal" or "Black or white", prepared especially for this evening.

 Michael Jackson's greatest hits will perform:

  • Klaudia Kaczyńska - graduate of the Academy Feliks Nowowiejski Music School in Bydgoszcz on the specialty of Vocal Jazz and Kazimierz Wielki University in the field of Artistic Education in the Field of Musical Art. Since 2017 she has been working as a pedagogue and teacher singing, conducts vocal workshops. He draws his musical inspiration from a wide range of jazz, ethnic and electronic music.
  • Dominika Krassowska – ełczanka, graduate of jazz vocal studies at the Feliks Academy of Music Nowowiejski in Bydgoszcz. Laureate of numerous international, national and regional music festivals. Performs broadly understood popular music, mainly jazz, soul, r&b and ethnic music.
  • Mateusz Wiśniewski – vocalist, graduate of the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, jazz singing class. He cooperates with the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz and the Anna Dymna Foundation "Mimo wszystko".

The band will be accompanied by:

  • Kacper Kasprzak – instruments keyboard, scholarship holder of the President of the City of Ełk
  • Michał Dykban – guitars
  • Maciej Domagalski – drums
  • Bartłomiej Werachowski – bass guitar

The concert is implemented as part of the Artistic Scholarship of the President of the City of Ełk.

Saturday (20 August) - 7.00 p.m., Amphitheatre Eck

Concert – Cappella Gedanensis - representative the team of the City of Gdańsk was founded in 1981 thanks to the initiative of Alina Kowalska-Pińczak. The assumption was the continuation of the Band operating since the sixteenth century City Council in Gdańsk. Since 1992 the team has been a Local Government Institution Culture of the City of Gdansk and graced many celebrations related to the visit of important Personalities. In in a short time the band performed in most european countries, in North America and Asia and has presented itself at major music festivals around the world.

Concert under baton by Jacek Brzoznowski realized as part of the Artistic Scholarship President of the City of Ełk.

Sunday (August 21) - 7.00 p.m., ECK Amphitheatre

Concert – Motion Trio - Polish trio accordion, combining in their work the fire of music with roots Eastern European with icy precision by great classical composers. Founded more than twenty-five years ago, the ensemble has gone through its artistic path. from concerts on the streets of Europe to the largest concert halls in the world. Motion The trio performed in forty-four countries around the world on all Continents. The hallmark is the extremely original sound of the trio, achieved while maintaining the sound of the accordion: without processing, without participation other instruments, without the tricks of technique. Artists rely only on their excellent accordion playing skills, imagination and talent. Thirteen albums released so far by the band have gained wide recognition, collecting praise and awards from both jazz and classical music critics.
