Two events promoting regional products and honeys after once again they joined forces: honey festival and V Hunting Festival "Ełkowisko".

24 September, John Paul II Square, start: 9.00 a.m., free admission.

Holiday Honey is a meeting of professionals for whom honey is an inspiration to work and admirers of this nectar.

During the event:

• you will be able to stock up on the best honey on coming autumn,
• preview the work of a bartnik and a beekeeper,
• the results of the competition "For the best" will take place cake with honey',
• for children, an animation tent with a theme is planned beekeeping-honey.

Ełkowisko is not only cultural and natural values, it is also entertainment. Ełk Holiday hunters and foresters promote regional products, traditional healthy Polish food, honey and folk handicrafts. All this during the fair, which always accompanies Ełkowisko, where traditionally you will be able to try delicious and healthy dishes not only from venison, but also from other traditional Polish cuisine.

In addition, numerous fitness competitions are planned and Exhibition.

Competition on "Best Honey Cake"

The Ełk Cultural Centre invites you to participate in the competition "Na the best cake with honey".

The willingness to participate must be submitted by September 22. Task the competition consists in delivering baking to the event from 14:00 to 14:30 home production that meets the form of a dessert (e.g. cake, cake), to which honey was used. Participation in the competition is free of charge.

The results of the competition will take place during the Honey Festival and Ełkowiska on John Paul II Square.

Mobile Blood Collection Point

Regional Centre for Blood Donation and Blood Treatment in Olsztyn informs that during the Honey festival and Ełkowiska there will be a mobile point blood collection.

Registration of blood donors will take place during the hours 10.00 – 14.00. The campaign is addressed to healthy people aged 18-65. Detailed instructions on how to prepare for blood collection can be found on the website www.rckikol.pl in the "Information" tab for donors'.

People who want to donate blood must have with them a document with a photo confirming the identity and PESEL number.
