The purpose of the public consultation is to collect comments, conclusions, opinions and recommendations from interested persons, organizations, entities to the project Municipal program for the care of monuments of the city of Ełk for the years 2023-2026.

The main objective of the project is to increase the role of cultural heritage in the socio-economic development of Ełk.

Among the auxiliary objectives included in the project of the documents are m.in.:

1. Creation of legal conditions conducive to more effective care of monuments, including, for example, the creation of a life the function of the municipal conservator of monuments,

2. Building a local education system social knowledge about the cultural heritage of Ełk, including, for example, increasing knowledge among representatives of housing associations in the scope of appropriate methods restoration and renovation of historic buildings,

3. Integration of society through awakening a sense of shared responsibility for where they live, where they can there is a culturally diverse heritage, including, for example, a vocation to social life guardians of Ełk monuments, who volunteer to support city administration in the care of monuments and engage in building public awareness of the local cultural heritage.

Public consultations concern the City of Ełk and may all residents of Ełk and public institutions take part in them, non-governmental organizations, entrepreneurs and other entities from the City. Will be carried out on 28 days November - December 6, 2022

Forms of conduct:

1. Intermediate form

- providing feedback by traditional mail using completed and signed consultation form during the duration consultations, to the address of the Ełk City Hall, 4 Piłsudskiego Street, 19-300 Ełk;

-providing feedback by post electronically, during the consultation – sending the form consultancy to the e-mail address of the strategia@um.elk.pl .

2. Direct form

- providing feedback directly to the employee Department of Strategy and Development during on-call time every Thursday at 15.30-16.30 in the building at 6 Piłsudskiego Street, floor I, room 101 in time the duration of the consultation.
