After After a two-year break, the tradition of the city meeting was resumed wafer.

In On December 21, 2022, guests had the opportunity to pre-Christmas thoughts and to share the wafer and making wishes. Among those present were m.in: representatives of local government, Ełk parliamentarians, entrepreneurs, representatives of municipal institutions, the judiciary, services uniformed officers, health services, non-governmental organizations and unions Professional.

Event graced the performance of the choir "Fantazja" from Primary School No. 4 under the direction of Mr. Tomasz Sulima and a Christmas performance "Nativity play with the Little Prince – God is born" prepared by the community of Primary School No. 3 in Ełk.

After artistic part, in the Zebra room, scouts handed over the Light Bethlehem Bishop Jerzy Mazur. For a festive mood took care of the Masurian Song and Dance Ensemble Ełk.

President Elk Tomasz Andrukiewicz and Fr. Bishop Jerzy Mazur they gave to everyone Christmas wishes. After the official part, the guests split wafer, they wished each other and sang together Carols.
