Sepsis is a set of symptoms caused by by the uncontrolled reaction of the body to infection. In course sepsis may result in multiple organ failure within a few hours, shock and death. According to the latest research, on a global scale, sepsis It is the cause of 20% of all deaths.

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity wants to equip hospitals with equipment that allows you to speed up the diagnosis of threats – this will enable More effective treatment of sepsis through faster implementation of targeted and effective Antibiotic therapy. On this volunteers of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will carry out collections for city streets, including Ełk.
