Today (February 28) in the city The town hall signed the contract by the Ełk County Board and the contractor project entitled Improvement of energy efficiency of utility buildings public Ełk County.

The project assumes thermomodernization and renovation of the building of the Ełk City Hall and the District Office in Ełk, as well as the building of the District Labour Office and the building of the District Road Administration.

The implementation of the project will contribute to m.in. to improve the conditions of use of facilities and reduce heat loss.

During the meeting, the president of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz emphasized the important role of cubature investments, which support the construction industry market, facing the challenge of the current situation Economic.

The meeting was attended by an MP of the The Sejm of the Republic of Poland Wojciech Kossakowski, directors of institutions covered by the project, as well as Journalists.

Scope of works in the Starosty building District in Ełk and Ełk City Hall include, m.in.: replacement of covers roofing, partial replacement of roof structure elements, façade renovation building with restoration of the removed detail and replacement of flashings, renovation of terraces and external stairs, partial replacement of window frames and renovation of historic windows, partial replacement of door joinery and renovation historic doors.

Value of construction works on of three buildings is PLN 12,750,488.57.

The City's subsidy for the District for the implementation of the investment task is about 500,000 Golden.
