In 2003, he established the Masurian Scientific Society in Ełk and from the moment of its inception he ran them. In his research devoted himself to the history of the region and the interpenetration of cultures of the Masurian borderland, Podlasie and eastern lands. He presented the results of these studies in journals scientific in Poland and abroad. He ran the publishing house of Mazurski Scientific Society in Ełk, he founded and served as the editor-in-chief "Rocznik Ełk". He is the author of m.in "History of Polish children of the second victims World War in Podlasie and Mazury".

He received many awards and distinctions, m.in the title of "Elchanin" 2009", awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Education, was a laureate Masurian Diary Competition. In 2022, he received a distinction in competition "White Lily Award 2021" in the category "Special Prize".
