"Pro-Medica" in Ełk Sp. z o.o. signed with the Marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, agreement for co-financing the Project entitled "Retrofitting of the "Pro-Medica" Hospital in Ełk Sp. z o.o. to strengthen the health care system", as part of Regional Operational Programme of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship for the years 2014-2020.

Main The aim of the project is: to improve the quality of services in the field of cardiac rehabilitation and patient safety in the Hospital "Pro-Medica" in Ełk Sp. z o.o., in order to take corrective actions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and its social impact and the increase in immunity, through the purchase of modern medical equipment.

The specific objectives of the project are:

- improvement of overall physical performance, and well-being of patients,

- undertaking specialist treatment of patients,

- increasing the effectiveness of care services Health

- increasing the number of medical procedures performed in order to reduce the number of people waiting for treatments,

- improving the working conditions of doctors and employees,

- shortening the time of hospitalization,

- minimizing complications caused by the disease, rebuilding lost functions and returning to everyday life as soon as possible, and improving the quality of his life,

- prevention of nosocomial infections through the purchase of modern infrastructure for sterilization and disinfection of equipment Medical.

As part of the project, a modern, energy-saving medical equipment and equipment dedicated to:

1. Block Operative in the form of: laparoscopic optician (2 pcs.) and innovative laparoscopy kit with the use of greenery indocyanine (ICG). This technology is invaluable for cell detection cancer, because it perfectly visualizes diseased tissues, which allows you to precisely determine the scope of surgery, and thus reduce the amount of surgery to a minimum unwanted events, e.g. it is not necessary to delete all nodes lymphatic in the region of the organ attacked by the tumor, so far was associated with complications;

2. Central Sterilization: the purchased equipment will be in such a state technological that in a few years it will not need to be replaced;

3. Branch Cardiac Rehabilitation: purchase of equipment provides support in the field of increasing access to cardiac rehabilitation and enabling the provision of comprehensive cardiac care;

4. Branch Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care and Nursing and Care Facility/ Care and Treatment Facility.

In addition, the above-mentioned project provides for reimbursement of costs incurred in previous years for the purchase - to the Laboratory Microbiological - system for testing for SARS-CoV-2 and swabs screening for patient qualification.

Total value of the project: PLN 1,999,982.27, including co-financing in the amount of: PLN 1,617,985.66, own contribution in the amount of: PLN 381,996.61 PLN.

Project completion date: 31.12.2023 r.
