During this year's jubilee XX Laurel Gala "Best of the Best", which took place recently in Olsztyn, the prize was awarded to the Ełk company Saxdor Shipyard Sp. z o.o. in the category "Innovation and development", and in the "Science" category, the Association was awarded the laurel Historical and exploratory Yotving.

Saxdor Shipyard has been Appreciated for the use of modern methods in the production of boats in the shipyard in Ełk, and the Jaćwież Association for the discovery of the treasure from Ełk – 680 coins from the XVII century, appreciated by National Geographic.

President of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz met today (10 May) with the Vice-President of the Management Board of Saxdor Shipyard Sp. z o.o. Paweł Błaszak and the President of the Board of the Historical – Exploration Jaćwież Mariusz Jarząbek and vice-president Jarosław Łapiński. During the meeting in the city hall, the President congratulated the winners and thanked for the promotion of Ełk in Poland and abroad.
