On On April 26, the Ełk City Council increased the spending plan for subsidies from the budget The City of Ełk for conservation, restoration or construction works at a monument entered in the register of monuments or in the municipal register monuments in the City of Ełk in 2023 from PLN 150,000 to PLN 300,000.

1 June in the city hall, the president of Ełk signed with representatives of two housing associations, grant agreements. The grant was awarded to:

1. The Community Chopina 4 in Ełk, the scope of works includes: roof renovation and façade: renovation of chimneys, making a new layer of roofing felt, processing flashing, replacement of roofing on a steep roof, replenishment of cavities plaster, renovation of the plinth and decorative elements of cornices, replacement of window sills, renewal of window and door joinery, renewal of balustrades, insulation walls of a residential and commercial building at 4 Chopina Street in Ełk; amount co-financing is PLN 100,000;

2. The Community Chopina 14 in Ełk, the scope of works includes: renovation of the façade building: repair of scratches, removal of old paint, replenishment of cavities, painting façade, restoration of balustrades and grilles, painting of the entrance door of the building residential and service at 14 Chopina Street in Ełk; The amount of co-financing is 50 000 PLN.
