On July 20, the Sports Commission of the Association of Polish Cities meets in our city. As part of the meeting, which took place in the revitalized hall at Armii Krajowej Street representatives of the cities: Poznań, Warsaw, Gliwice, Lublin, Katowice, Legionowo, Łódź, Toruń, Chorzów, Bydgoszcz and Oświęcim discussed m.in.: the model of financing sport or the phenomenon of nature in sport, i.e. methods biological regeneration on the example of passive bioregeneration. In addition, in the form of An open discussion was held on the topic: Individual or team sport?

The participants were welcomed by the President of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz, who briefly presented the history of the Leszek Błażyński Hall and the city. In addition, he wished everyone gathered a good stay in Ełk.

In addition to a discussion meeting, guests will have the opportunity to visit our city and admire the spectacular balloon raids, because today (July 20) begins XVI Masurian Balloon Competition, which will last until 22 July.

Association of Cities Polskie is a self-governing organization associating over 350 cities and has to support the idea of local self-government and the pursuit of economic and socio-cultural development of Polish cities. It also disseminates good practice of modern and innovative management. President of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz is a Member of the Board of the Association of Polish Cities.
