Awards The White Lily has been awarded since 2007 for outstanding contribution to the development and promotion of the city of Ełk. The idea behind the competition is to distinguish people who, in a special way, through their daily work, active and committed to serving the city and its residents, contributing to the contribute to the promotion of Ełk.

Awards shall be granted to natural persons, legal persons and other entities for specific achievements in the previous calendar year or for the overall activity in the one of the eight categories: Patron of Sport, Sportsman of the Year, Artistic Award, Patron of culture, ambassador of Ełk, Entrepreneur of the Year, dignified attitude Imitation, Special Award.

In this edition of the competition, 29 applications were submitted, which were considered by the chapter appointed by the President of Ełk.

This year, the award was given to 8 awards and 6 honorable mentions. The award ceremony took place on 4 October 2023 at the Ełk Cultural Centre. The winners were honoured by the President of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz and the Chairman of the Ełk City Council Włodzimierz Szelążek.
