National Education Day It is celebrated on October 14. On this occasion today (13 October) in the hall Ełk Cultural Centre, the city celebrated the Day of Education National.

The ceremony was attended by m.in. Mayor of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz, Deputy Mayor of the City Artur Urbański and Mirosław Hołubowicz, Chairwoman of the Education and Culture Committee of the Ełk City Council Ewa Awramik, representatives of teachers' unions, school principals primary and nursery schools, teachers, education staff and staff Department of Education of the Ełk City Hall.

During the meeting, the President of Ełk wished to the headmasters, teachers and education staff and thanked for the commitment and energy put into the education of generations of young people. In the course of the ceremony, the President presented awards for outstanding achievements and merits in the for improving the quality of education in our city.

The meeting was graced by performances performed by a student of class VI of the Primary School No. 2 named after Danuta Siedzikówna "Inka" and a student of the second grade of the High School in the sports schools.
