Elk daffodils will bloom in spring as a sign of hope

In October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month, every year are planted daffodils that bloom in the spring. This year, the Ełk Association "Amazons" planted "symbols of hope" in front of the ECC building with volunteers from the School Complex No. 2 K.K. Baczyński. As every year, the mayor of Ełk, Tomasz joined the campaign Andrukiewicz.
300 daffodil bulbs were left planted today (19 October) at the building of the Ełk Cultural Centre in green belt at Wojska Polskiego and Zamkowa streets. In spring, they will bloom enjoying Passers-by. The flowers were planted as a sign of hope and as an important symbol for all women battling cancer Breast.
The planting of the bulbs was attended by representatives of the Ełk Association of "Amazons", the president of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz, as well as students of the K.K. Baczyński School Complex No. 2 in Ełk "White General".
