Yesterday (23 October) at the Scanmed Cardiology Centre, located in the building Pro-Medica Hospital in Ełk, the official opening and consecration of the Laboratory took place Haemodynamics equipped with a new angiograph. The event was attended by Mayor of Ełk.

An angiograph is a specialized device for surgical treatment of the full spectrum of cardiac diseases related to coronary circulation and cardiac electrical disorders. Apparatus is used directly to save the lives of patients with A heart attack occurred.

In Scanmed Cardiology Center in Ełk performs cardiology procedures and electrophysiology.

In The Centre operates a round-the-clock haemodynamic station, providing Elks and residents of the surrounding counties the possibility of treatment at any time, in cases of myocardial infarction or other acute coronary syndromes. The Centre implements elective cardiac procedures in the field of hemodynamics and electrophysiology.

All the procedures are performed under an agreement with the National Health Fund.
