On November 11, we celebrate the 105th anniversary of the Holocaust. The anniversary of Poland regaining its independence. The celebration has already begun today. The youngest inhabitants of Elk (about 600 children from all kindergartens and kindergarten classes) sang after 12.00 in the amphitheater of the Ełk Cultural Center Hymn Polish "Dąbrowski's Mazurka". Earlier, the children danced and recited a poem.

Official ceremonies will also take place today, and on Saturday m.in. Independence Run.

approx. 6:30 p.m. Ceremonies at the Józef Piłsudski Monument assisted by the Company Honorary Certificate from the Military Training Centre of the Land Forces – Orzysz |   Town Hall

11:11 am Course Independence | Town Hall

Run through the streets of the city of Ełk along a marked route. Distance 1111 m one lap (max 3 laps), free participation. Start & Finish will be located at the City Hall (Piłsudskiego Street).
