No Let us pass by those in need of support indifferently. Let's notify the appropriate when we see that someone needs help. Effectiveness of aid dependent on depends on the activity of the residents. Let's remember that the help provided in time (e.g. 112) can save someone's life. It is important to pay attention to the people staying in stairwells, near the station or gardens allotments.

In Ełk, homeless people can take advantage of, m.in 24-hour shelters and hot meal in the following institutions:

1. Association MONAR – MARKOT Shelter for the Homeless
   in Ełk , Dąbrowskiego 3C Street – year-round activity – accepted there are only men
2. Caritas Diocese of Ełk
• St. Padre Pio Shelter in Ełk , 27 Kościuszki St. - year-round activity – women and men are accepted
• Heating plant - Caritas of the Ełk Diocese , 18 Kościuszki St.

- from 1 October until 31 December, 7 days a week from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

- from 1 January until 30 April, 7 days a week from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

10. At the Provincial Crisis Management Centre of the Voivode Since 1 November 2020, a free, free, 24/7 hotline for homeless people. By phone at 800 165 320 interested people can get information about shelters, night shelters and heating facilities in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
