Ełk On the occasion of the upcoming International Women's Day, the Cultural Centre invites to a meeting with the author promoting the book "Only They. Polish art without men" with author Sylwia Zientek, which will take place on Thursday, March 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the ECK Chamber Hall.

Sylvia Zientek is a writer, author of novels, mainly historical, short stories and numerous biographical publications. She published, m.in, the Warsaw saga "Hotel Varsovie".

Urban The Public Library in Ełk invites you on Friday, March 8 to event entitled "Everything for women or March 8 in the library", as part of the at 5:00 p.m. there will be a meeting with Igor Iwaszko.

Igor Iwaszko is a psychologist and photographer by education. His works were awarded to the national competition of native photography "Between heaven and land" and presented at individual and group exhibitions, as well as demonstrations and lectures. This year, he published his own photographic and literary album "Biebrza Roads", which is a book about the Biebrza space.

At 6:00 p.m. Kuba Blokesz's concert "(Sub)Miscellaneous Poems"

Cuba Blokesza – a Silesian living in Warsaw. Laureate of several festivals Song. He has performed in concerts and musical performances, m.in for the Studio Songs of the Polish Radio Theatre. He has made his phonographic debut entitled "Lviv. Urban Sketches" (DALMAFON, published in 2015), which is a poetic programme composed of from the texts of contemporary Ukrainian poets translated for the first time into Polish with his music.
