In the near future, the agreement on the implementation of the Instrument for Rural Development will be signed Integrated Territorial Investments ITI of the Urban Area Functional Ełk as part of the regional programme European Funds for Warmia and Mazury 2021-2027, between the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and Association of ZIT MOF Ełk.

The subject of the Agreement is adoption of the territorial development instrument for the ITI of the Ełk MOF, in order to implementation of tasks in the field of development policy resulting from the development strategy voivodship.

Within the framework of the Facility, Functional Urban Area, projects will be implemented in the area of:

about   energy efficiency in the field of in the field of thermal modernization of public buildings and municipal buildings Residential area 

about    education in the field of m.in. adaptation educational institutions to people with special needs, including with disabilities, the provision of extracurricular activities in schools, the creation of workshops, the creation of new pre-school places, the improvement of competences teachers, and

about    social inclusion including social inclusion family-oriented, local initiatives.

Total EU funding allocated to the financing of activities dedicated to ITI under the FEWiM 2021-2027 shall be a maximum of 22 652 097 EUR , including:

(1) the resources of the European Regional Development Fund Regional Level, up to a maximum of 16 044 826  EUR in the form of grants,

(2) the resources of the European Social Fund+ – up to EUR 6 045 756 in grants,

3) State budget resources separated under the Programme Contract for the Voivodeship concluded on 29 July 2022 between the Minister of Development Funds and the Regional Policy and the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, constituting complement to the ESF+ of EUR 561 515.

Activities will be carried out in the based on the ITI Strategy for the Functional Urban Area adopted by the Association of ZIT MOF Ełk.
