With At the beginning of the year, the Mayor of Ełk signed agreements for co-financing two investments reconstruction of Małeckie and 3-go Maja streets. City selected a contractor for the reconstruction of the streets. The Mayor of Ełk will sign contracts with the contractor work at the beginning of April.

Rebuilding both Małeckie Street and 3-go Maja Street will include the construction of a new surfaces of bituminous roadways, pavements made of concrete slabs and paving stones granite. Entrances and parking spaces will be made of paving stones, in In the vicinity of Primary School No. 2, Kiss & Ride places will be created.

At Both streets will also be equipped with bicycle paths with a surface of bituminous glass of red colour, with a unidirectional course opposite to that of the direction of traffic.

Both Małeckie Street, as well as 3-go Maja Street, will be rebuilt at a length of approx. 254 m.

In As part of the task, the surface will be drained in the form of a sewage system construction of a sanitary sewer connection, construction of a water supply network including connections.

Planned the date of commencement of the reconstruction of Małeckich Street and 3-go Maja Street is the end of April/early May 2024

Value works from the tender on Małeckie Street: PLN 2,992,200, co-financing PWiK 448,950 PLN, co-financing PLN 1,465,244.29.

Value works from the tender for 3 – go Maja Street: PLN 3,192,000, co-financing PWiK 630,000 PLN, co-financing PLN 1,583,316.

Works for the construction of the water supply and sanitary sewage system shall be financed by the PWiK sp. z o.o.

Value co-financing of 60% of the value of the works.  Total The amount of co-financing is PLN 3,048,560.29.

Both road investments were co-financed by the Government Road Development Fund.

Deadline performance of tasks: 220 days from the signing of reconstruction contracts.
