International Nurses Day and Midwives, which falls on 12 May, is an excellent opportunity to express the gratitude and appreciation for people practicing this profession. On this occasion, today in the Ełk Cultural Centre, a ceremony was held, hosted by the President Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz. The President thanked the nurses, nurses and midwives for their commitment and effort accompanying the care of the sick, expressed his appreciation and wished me well.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Pro – Medica Sp. z o.o. Hospital in Ełk, 1 Military Hospital Clinical Hospital with the Polyclinic of SPZOZ in Lublin – Branch in Ełk and representatives of other municipal institutions.

There were also representatives of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn – Branch in Ełk together with employees and students of the Faculty of Nursing, which operates in the Ełk Affiliates.
