Free travel on Ełk public transport

According to the decision of the Mayor of Ełk on Children's Day (1 June) children and young people up to 18 years of age are entitled to free travel public transport in the city and municipality of Ełk.

Children's Day Festival

Welcome for the Children's Day Family Fest today (Saturday) June 1 from 11.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m. at the John Paul II Square. Many attractions are planned, including m.in Ełk An outdoor game with attractive prizes, a mobile pump truck, an animation zone, music and dance performances on stage.

The program includes:

mobile pump truck – bicycle town, available from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.,

·         "Dance with Mosir" – Dominika Nowakowska from New Style has prepared games and choreographies for those willing Dance

·         "One trace" or a slalom track for those who ride  on balance bikes and scooters - aimed at children pre-school schools,

·         educational zones (e.g. healthy lifestyle, sports activity, environmental protection),

·         animation zone (inflatables, braids, face painting, soap bubbles, competitions),

·         Toddler zone with a corner for play and creative arts and crafts,

·         zone safety with demonstrations of fire brigade, police and fire brigade equipment Urban

·         theatre corner and fairy tale characters,

·         refreshments – bigos and pea soup,

·         musical performances and dance on stage, interspersed with joint animations.

Family picnic on the occasion of the 20th anniversary Polish accession to the EU

With Family Picnic on the occasion of Children's Day was combined with a family picnic on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Polish accession to the EU. The event is covered by Honorary Patronage of the Marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship Marcin Kuchciński.

In As part of the picnic, the following stands will be available:

- Nicolaus Copernicus Post-Secondary School in Ełk,

- Romincka Forest Landscape Park,

- Museum of Folk Culture in Węgorzewo,

- of the Warmia and Mazury Teacher Training Centre in Olsztyn, Branch in Elk.
