Changes in traffic organization on All Saints' Day

In in connection with All Saints' Day on the streets of Ełk will be introduced Temporary changes in traffic organization in the vicinity of cemeteries. They will be in force November 1 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Temporary changes apply to the following streets: Targowa, Kochanowskiego, Cmentarna, Towarowa and Matejko.

In Friday, November 1, we celebrate All Saints' Day. Due to the increased movement in the vicinity of cemeteries will be temporarily changed in the organization of Traffic:

1.    Targowa and Kochanowskiego Streets:

• two-way traffic will be maintained,

• at the exits from the market, "Kaufland", the "ATU" department store and the building at 10 Targowa Street, an order to drive to the right will be introduced.

2.    Cmentarna Street:

• It is planned to close the traffic on Cmentarna Street by setting up a at the intersection with Kochanowskiego and Norwida streets, the B-1 sign with a road barrier single U-20b with a sign "No applies to MZK vehicles and municipal services"

• In addition, signs will be placed on Targowa, Kochanowskiego and Norwida Streets B-21 (no left turn) and B-22 (no right turn) with a sign "No applies to vehicles of MZK and municipal services".

3.    Norwida Street:

• C.K. Norwida Street along the entire length of the to Kościuszki Street will be passable in both directions without the possibility of stopping on both sides of the road. Moving between cemeteries No. 1 and 2 will be possible through the newly opened section of Towarowa Street and the viaduct under the railway tracks.

4.    Towarowa Street:

• on the section of Towarowa Street (along the Cemetery No. 2), from the narrow-gauge railway crossing to the intersection of Okrężna Street  and Strefowa on both sides of the road, it is forbidden to stop

• on the new section of Towarowa Street from Norwida Street to the narrow-gauge railway crossing Stopping will be prohibited on both sides of the road

• section of the street along "Murbet", from the cemetery to the railway tracks, traffic should be will be one-way with the possibility of entry from the cemetery from the allowing parking on the left side of the road.

• the area between the fence of the cemetery and the road  from S.S.S.E. will be closed.

5.    Matejki Street:

• on the side of the cemetery there will be signs B-36 (no stopping) with "applies to the roadway" plates. On the opposite side, along the entire length of the B-36 signs (no stopping) have been placed.


On the premises of the city market (in the area of the car market), on Friday 1 November, a parking lot will be created.
