Free ultrasound examinations for children – the "NO to cancer in children" program

The Mayor of Ełk, Tomasz Andrukiewicz, and the Ronald McDonald Foundation invite parents and guardians to free ultrasound examinations of children aged 9 months to 6 years. The mobile clinic will visit Ełk on May 21 and 22, 2025. The number of places is limited – the order of applications is decisive.

Mayor of the City Tomasz Andrukiewicz and the Ronald McDonald Foundation, in cooperation with partners, invite parents and guardians for free ultrasound examinations of children aged from 9 months to 6 years, registered in the city of Ełk. Nearest edition of the "NO to Childhood Cancer" program will take place on May 21 and 22 2025 in Ełk (ul. Nadjeziorna, the square behind the Amphitheater of the Ełk Cultural Centre).

To save child for an examination, call 87 732 62 28 or 87 732 62 64 on 14 and 15 May 2025 at 4.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m.

Number of seats is limited, and registration is determined by the order of applications.

In Poland the Ronald McDonald Foundation's mobile clinic initiative was established in 2005. For two decades, the Foundation has already examined over 95,000 children. Program "NO to cancer
in children" is one of the Foundation's key programs, the aim of which is to detection of cancerous lesions in the youngest. Mobile Ambulance every year travels thousands of kilometers, offering safe, painless and free ultrasound examinations.

Every child comes at the appointed time. The research is carried out by experienced radiologists in accordance with the highest medical standards, and parents They receive the results with possible recommendations immediately after the test. For many, of children, this is the first chance for such a detailed diagnosis, which can change their future.
