Fifty years of marriage is an extraordinary jubilee, testifying to love, mutual support and perseverance. For couples who nurtured their relationship for half a century, the President of the Republic of Poland awards Medals for Long-Term Marriage.

We encourage the residents of Ełk who are in a relationship married for 50 years, to submit an application for the award of the decoration.

To start the medal awarding procedure, you need to submit application at the Registry Office competent for the place of permanent residence of the jubilees. In the case of residents of Ełk, in the Office Registry in Ełk.

The application should contain an abbreviated copy of the act and photocopies of identity cards of both spouses. Such a conclusion can be submitted by spouses or their closest relatives. After submitting the documents, the Registry Office prepares draft application, which is then forwarded to the voivode, and from there to the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.
