Another edition of the "You give away garbage - you get a tree" campaign is behind us. On Thursday (April 23), the 12th edition of the event took place. On John Paul II Square, we exchanged unnecessary textiles and electrical waste for tree seedlings.
In total, 1000 seedlings were sent to Ełczany and Ełczany - these are, m.in, spruces, rowan, beeches and maples. We would like to thank the Ełk Forest District for joining the spring edition and donating 500 seedlings.
The action was organized on the occasion of the ongoing Ełk Earth Days. The next edition will take place in the autumn!
