The action of collecting souvenirs related to Ełk after 1945

Although the middle of 2021 has not yet passed, at the Historical Museum in Ełk we are already planning events for... 2022 year. We will want to present you then a close-up of the history of Ełk after 1945. However, we still have a lot of work ahead of us. We will also need YOUR HELP.

Everyone has at home family souvenirs from the times of the People's Republic of Poland, photographs from the celebration of state holidays, social deeds, demonstrations, sports and cultural events. Something seemingly insignificant can have significant historical value.

GIVE A LITTLE STORY

We would like to show the past of Ełk through the prism of your photographs, your documents and souvenirs.
