Concerto The Dominik Wani and Jarosław Bothur Quartet will be held as part of the Jazz Meeting on April 15 at 19:00 in the auditorium Ełk Cultural Center.

Vanya and Bothur decided to tackle the material of the famous Polish 70's band "The Quartet". Founded in 1977 by Sławomir Kulpowicz, because for both musicians these were: favorite recordings of contemporary idols, and the performance of these compositions is closely compatible with the character and power of communication of both mature Soloists.

Premiere project took place on the air of the Second Polish Radio In August this year, as part of the JAZZ.Pl.

Quartet Dominika Wani in the line-up:

• Yaroslavl Bothur – (tenor and soprano saxophones)Jazz saxophonist, composer, graduate and lecturer at the Faculty of Jazz and Music Entertainment Academy of Music in Katowice, PhD in music of this university.

  Winner many awards m.in Gold and Platinum Record: prestigious Polish phonographic industry awards. It has been listed for several years in the JAZZ TOP survey of the Jazz Forum magazine in the category "Saxophone" Tenor"

• Dominik Vanya – (piano) Pianist, joined the elite group artists recording for ECM Records, and signed with his "Lonely Shadows" is the first ever solo album Polish musician released by this most prestigious label jazz in the world.

  Awarded two Fryderyk statuettes (in the categories Jazz Album of the Year and Jazz Debut of the Year) and the TVP Kultura award "Gwarancje Cultures".

• Peter Narajowski – (double bass) Young double bassist from Wroclaw. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice and in Krakow. Winner of such competitions as Jazz Juniors 2020, Jazz nad Measles 2021. Twice nominated for the award in 2020 and 2021 FRYDERYK for the best phonographic debut with Przemysław bands Chmiel Quartet and Semiotic Quintet. He cooperated m.in with such musicians as: Adam Pierończyk, Piotr Wyleżoł, Joachim Mencel, Dominik Wania, Peter Evans.

• Anonymous Pałka – (drums) Drummer born in 1994 in Krakow. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Krakow, which he graduated from distinction in the class of dr hab. Łukasz Żyta and dr Wojciech Fedkowicz. Currently a PhD student at this university. Repeatedly Awarded at percussion and jazz competitions and festivals both international and national significance: Jazz Juniors, Krokus Jazz Festival, Blue Note Jazz Competition, Inter- National Drumfest.
