City Government Ełk cooperates with non-governmental organizations, m.in. commissioning them to implement its statutory tasks. In the first quarter of 2023, the city granted 104 grants for NGOs for a total amount of PLN 2,770,000.

Amount remaining to distribution under the grant is over PLN 500,000, with intended for the implementation of tasks of the local government of the city of Ełk in the field of support NGO.
