This year there is the 103rd anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw, known as the "Miracle on the Vistula", commemorating the victorious battle fought during the Polish-Soviet War on August 15, 1920 Year. The victory of the Poles over the Red Army ensured Poland's independence and saved Europe from the Bolshevik Revolution.

Tomorrow (August 15) at the monument march. Józef Piłsudski in Ełk at 11.00 the official celebrations will begin with the participation of the Military Honorary Company from Bemów Piski. At 12:15 p.m. there will be a Holy Mass in St. Adalbert's Cathedral.

On the square an entertainment part is planned at Pulaskiego Street, m.in will include:

- 12:00 o'clock – 18:00 Festival of Tastes of the World,

- in hours 14:00 – 19:00 Family Picnic. Program:

14:00 Concert of the City Brass Band

14:45 Common reading fairy tales – Tomasz Andrukiewicz  President of the City of Ełk and Actors of the PudEŁKo Theatre

15:30 Singing patriotic songs with choir "Pojezierze" under the direction of Kamil Szejda

16:00 Performance for children "Thumbelina" by Barnaby Theatre from Gdańsk

17:00 "Songs well known to all" concert of Agata Trawczyńska with singing youth from Ełk: Wiktoria Borawska, Tatiana Karpienko, Martyna Więcko

18:00 Concert of the band "Dobre Impress"

It also provides:

- stands with handicrafts,

- Zone children: games, competitions and activities,

- equipment demonstration the NATO Military Battle Group,

-Presentation equipment of uniformed services.

On the boulevards on the Ełk River from 19:00 to 21:00 there will be a dance.

On this day We also invite Elks, tourists and guests to:

-Recital organ by Marek Kudlicki. Marek Kudlicki's repertoire is wide. Includes He works of all epochs, including old, romantic and contemporary Polish music organ. In addition to solo works, he has in his repertoire numerous, rarely played Works for organ and orchestra.

The recital will take place as part of the XV Ełk Concerts Organ and Chamber Music at 7.45 p.m. in the Church of the Sacred Heart Jesus,

- Cinema under Stars at 21.00, amphitheater ECK.
