Vernissage outdoor exhibition entitled "They were neighbors: human choices and behavior in the face of the Holocaust" prepared by the United States The Holocaust Memorial Museum will take place at MHE, 1 Wąski Tor St. in Monday, September 11 at 17:00.

In The program includes a discussion around the exhibition, in which the participation of will be attended by Dr. Stefan Michał Marcinkiewicz, Dr. Lesław Sadowski, Dr. Rafał Żytyniec and Jakub Knyżewski as a moderator.

Exhibition is to make us think about why the Holocaust was possible? What made it in addition to the indisputable role of Adolf Hitler and others Nazi Party leaders, so many people all over Europe supported the crimes of the Nazis or remained silent, and what guided them, who did not yield to the temptation to betray their neighbors.

Exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30 to 16:30 to 31 October 2023 inclusive. Admission is free.

Exhibition "Some Were Neighbors" was born in a relationship with the twentieth anniversary of the opening of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2013 It lasted until 2017.

After closing the exhibition in Washington, D.C., an abridged version was created mobile, intended for international use. It was translated into ten languages and has been so far presented in twenty-one countries.
