Urban Sports and Recreation Centre with the aim of promoting active relaxation among residents and showing the values natural and landscape of Ełk and the surrounding area, organizes competitions on orientation "Orient yourself to Elk".

First The round took place on 21 May. Round II will take place on 17 September. Notification can be made until September 13 at: http://mosir.elk.pl/imprezy/zorientuj-sie-elkrunda-2/

In The competition can be attended by all comers without restrictions age, children up to 14 years of age can take part in the competition under the supervision of adults. It is recommended to have a compass, watch, a small first aid kit and disinfectants. On the red route – A compass is required.

Participants must have a mobile phone (to contact the organizer) - in One phone call is enough for the team.

Competition They take place on three routes to choose from:

- green (family, exercise, easy) – without classification. Maps typical colourful, route length approx. 6-7 km

- yellow (intermediate) - classification in categories - women (1 person), men (1 person), teams (2-5 people). Maps colourful typical, route length approx. 15-17 km

- Red (advanced) - classification in categories - women (1 wasps), males (1 person). Unusual, incomplete, transformed maps, Route length approx. 15-20 km

Hours. 8:30 – Competition Office – obligatory registration of participants before take-off + chip

Hours. 9:30 – start – yellow route – teams (limit 3:15 + 15 min)

Hours. 9:45 – start – yellow route – individual (limit 3:15 + 15 min)

Hours. 10:00 – start – red route (limit 3:00 + 15 min)

Hours. 10:00 – start – green route

Goal – a regenerative meal, bonfire, sausages awaits the participants, water (secured by the Organizer – MOSiR Ełk)

Hours. 13:30 – Ending and decoration of graduation, feast.
