Historic residential building at 21 Chopina Street will be restored. The Mayor of Ełk signed a contract with the contractor, under which, in addition to the demolition works, the following will be carried out, m.in:

-        renovation and renovation of external façades (repair of cracked walls, replacement of damaged ones bricks and all joints, plaster replacement),

-        cleaning hydrophobisation of external walls shall be carried out in order to prevent penetration of water into the structure of materials,

-        renovation Balconies

-        exchange balcony railings,

-        renovation exterior window and door joinery,

-        exchange external sheet metal window sills and the replenishment and replacement of damaged masonry elements of external window sills.

Cost investment: PLN 250,189.18

Investment is co-financed by the Government Programme for the Reconstruction of Monuments.

Height The subsidy amounts to PLN 245,185.40, constituting 98% of the investment value.

Planned Work start date: spring 2024.

Completion of works by August 2024.
