In 2023 to the Office for Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations:

-        176 tenders were submitted in open tenders, the procedure for non-competitive 104,

-        125 contracts were signed as part of open tenders, the non-competitive 80,

-        6 applications were submitted as part of the Local Initiative, 4 agreements were signed as part of the Local Initiative.

Appropriations from the budget cities and programmes earmarked in 2023 for cooperation with international organisations, NGOs:

-        As part of the Open Tender Competition: PLN 3,963,882.51, including:

• PLN 74,000 from the program "Respite Care" implemented under the Ministry of Family and Social Policy,
• PLN 1,048,374 from the programme "Personal Assistant of a Disabled Person" implemented under the Ministry of Family and Social Policy,

-        in mode non-competitive competition: PLN 224,376.16,

-        As part of the Local Initiative: PLN 150,000.

Municipal competitions for NGOs in 2024 – reminder

In In November, the Mayor of the City of Ełk announced open tenders for the implementation of tasks of the local government of the city of Ełk by non-governmental organizations next year.

Recruitment will last until the funds are exhausted, but no later than 31 October 2024 r.

Open calls for proposals for NGOs for implementation of the tasks of the local government of the city of Ełk m.in:

1.      Activity public benefit for the city of Ełk in 2024 (entrustment and support):

-        assurance safety above and on the water,

-        education non-formal education of children and young people,

-        education non-formal participation of adults,

-        Supporting social activity of people with disabilities,

-        Supporting social activity of the elderly,

-        Supporting volunteer activities of the inhabitants of Ełk,

-        education ecological development and the protection of natural heritage,

-        protection animal rights and active care for their welfare in Ełk,

-        Supporting social activity of the inhabitants of Ełk,

-        Supporting national and ethnic minorities, in particular dialogue and dialogue between national and ethnic minorities, intercultural cooperation and integration with the local environment,

-        Revitalizing social inclusion, including support for grassroots initiatives of the inhabitants of Ełk

-        in terms of greenery in public spaces in the area of social revitalization,

-        activity for children and young people through the organisation of winter and summer holidays,

-        Supporting organization of cultural life in Ełk,

-        Supporting creators of culture from Ełk,

-        Supporting development of competitive sport,

-        Supporting development of sport for children and young people,

-        Supporting development of grassroots sport.

2.      Prevention alcohol addiction addressed to homeless people from the city of Ełk in 2024 (prevention in shelters)

3.      Assurance shelter for homeless people staying in the city of Ełk in a warming room in year 2024

4.      Prevention alcohol addiction in 2024 on behalf of the implementation of public tasks in Ranges:

-        Classes with alcohol addiction prevention for children, adolescents and adults,

-        Classes with prevention of behavioural addictions for children, adolescents and adolescents. Adults

-        activity children and young people by running day-care centres in the care and/or yard work.

Height funds from the city budget for the implementation of the above tasks amounts to PLN 3,730,720.
