Constitution Day of 3 May in Ełk

Today (3 May) we are celebrating anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of 3 May. The official celebrations began Holy Mass in the Cathedral of St. Adalbert. The delegations then laid flowers at the monument "To the Fallen for Free and Independent Poland" in the Solidarity Park. On A family picnic and a number of events were held in the square at Pulaski Street Accompanying. Tonight there will be a dance party with DJ "Polskie Przeboje" on boulevards by the river.
The inhabitants of Ełk participate in the city's celebrations of the Constitution Day of 3 May. About at 9:45 a.m. the Holy Mass took place in the Cathedral of St. Adalbert with the setting the "Kontrapunkt" Choir under the direction of Rafał Sulima.
Official ceremonies with the participation of the Honorary Company of the Polish Army from Land Forces Training Centre in Orzysz and the Municipal Orchestra brass ceremony took place at the monument "Fallen for Free and Independent Poland" in the Park Solidarity.
A picnic was held on the square at Pułaskiego Street by the Ełk Lake family. Participants could listen to a concert of the Municipal Brass Orchestra. On The following bands presented themselves on the stage: Pojezierze and Na Mazurska Nutę. For The youngest participants of the picnic were presented by the Malutki Theatre from Warsaw.
Later in the program:
4:30 p.m. concert Good Impression "On the wave of words and sounds"
– handicraft stands,
– children's zone, animations, games, art corner,
– competitions with prizes,
7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. dance party with DJ "Polskie Przeboje" on the boulevards by the Ełk River.
