This is the seventeenth edition of the Competition addressed to graduates of master's and engineering studies, doctoral studies and postgraduate students who have undertake to write their work on Ełk, in the area of e.g. tourism and recreation, social policy, public administration, architecture or entrepreneurship development.

The aim of the competition is to popularizing topics related to Ełk, enabling the authors of the work promote their achievements and encourage innovative work in the development of scientific and research devoted to our city.

The prize pool is PLN 10,000.

Last year, the competition 15 works were submitted. After getting acquainted with the recommendation of the Chapter, the Mayor of Ełk awarded three prizes and three distinctions.
