Electricity prices are a serious challenge both in household budgets, in the activities of companies and in the operation of the office. Street lighting, traffic lights, operation of buildings, premises or commercial facilities require a lot of electricity - that is why every year the office looks for solutions that can reduce purchase costs.

The city of Ełk, preparing for the purchase of electricity in 2025, decided to create a purchasing group - this is a way to obtain more favorable purchase conditions. The group was joined by 5 entities: facilities and institutions of the City of Ełk, the Ełk District, the Municipal Transport Company Ltd., Adminstrator Ltd. and 1 Military Clinical Hospital with a Polyclinic SPZOZ in Lublin - Branch in Ełk.

3 offers were submitted, and the most advantageous one was submitted by VEOLIA. The expected cost of electricity purchase in 2025 is nearly PLN 3.8 million, which is 1.1 million less than the forecast for the current year. Reduce costs
