Ełk awarded with the Silver Shield

The city of Ełk took 2nd place at the Festival Responsible Films "17 Goals", which promotes sustainable development and social responsibility. The award was given for a film dealing with the problems of people with disabilities. The competition was attended by films made by enterprises, non-governmental organizations and public institutions. Gala The award ceremony took place on Friday (27 September) at the Rialto Cinema in Poznań.
Responsible Film Festival "17 Goals" is the only festival in Poland devoted to short (up to 5 minutes) films in the field of sustainable development. Its aim is, m.in others, to popularize the UN Agenda for the Promotion of Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and its 17 Goals, as well as supporting the development of civil society and the promotion of attitudes of Social.
During this year's edition of the festival, the city of Ełk was awarded the Silver Shield (2nd place) in the local government category for the film "We all create together the community of Ełk". The film was made in 2023 and addresses the problems of people with disabilities, showing their challenges, needs and passions. The award ceremony took place on Friday (27 September) at the Rialto Cinema in Poznań.
