On November 19, 2024, the Mayor of the City of Ełk announced the opening of the competitions of offers for the implementation of the tasks of the local government of the city of Ełk by non-governmental in 2025 on the basis of the Act on Public Benefit Activities and the Public Health Act. Recruitment started on 20 November 2024

Open calls for tenders for NGOs for the implementation of local government tasks of the city of Ełk in the field of social assistance, health care and prevention addictions in 2025:

1. Providing shelter for the homeless in the Hostels
2. Providing shelter for the homeless staying in the warming room
3. Prevention of alcohol addiction:

• classes in the field of addiction prevention alcohol for children, adolescents and adults,
• Addiction prevention classes behavioural programmes for children, adolescents and adults,
• activities for children and young people through running day-care and/or work support centres backyard

4. Drug addiction prevention
5. Meals for those in need
6. Specialized care services for people with disabilities mental disorders
7. Personal Assistant for People with Disabilities
8. Neighborhood Services
9. Specialized care services
10. Care services

The amount of funds from the city budget for the implementation of the of the above tasks is PLN 3,124,120.
