Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej w Ełku Sp. z o.o. signed a contract for the implementation of the investment entitled "Digitization of the network heating in Ełk" under priority program No. 4.13 "Zero-emission energy system Digitization of the Heating Network".

The aim of the above project is to build a digital model of heating network along with the implementation of an automatic remote reading system heat meters. The project will also include the purchase of new meters and network controllers.

An integrated digital operating system will allow for: optimization of the operation of the heat network, location of heat loss sites and detection of anomalies arising in it. It will also be possible to analyse network load in many places.

The implementation of the project will contribute to the increase in efficiency heating system by reducing heat losses in network operation which will translate into lower amounts of fuel consumed and thus lower emissions of pollutants to the Atmosphere.

The planned date of commencement of the investment is II quarter of 2025.

The planned completion date of the investment is the first quarter of 2027 Year.

Total investment cost: PLN 1,617,000.00

The amount of funding is PLN 802,000.00 and comes from funds of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management accumulated on the account of the Modernization Fund.
