"Virtual world – real emotions!". We invite you to a free webinar for parents

How to support children in the world of social media? 24 March at 7:00 p.m. there will be a webinar addressed to parents and guardians, who want to effectively support children in the digital environment.

Digital Bridges is a nationwide initiative of the Central Centre Computer Science, the aim of which is to strengthen the competences of parents and guardians  and children's teachers to consciously accompany the youngest in their daily online challenges. The program provides not only knowledge and practical Tips, but also ready-made materials to download and use at home: from educational content to tools to help build a safe environment digital.    

During the meeting, specialists in the field of psychology, sociology and cybersecurity, will talk, m.in, about the emotions that accompany young social media users, how to talk to children about their experiences without judging, as well as how to build in young Internet users healthy digital habits. Importantly, the aforementioned experts will not only tell you But they will also answer – questions asked by webinar participants.

  • Paul Bernacik – Director of the Cybersecurity Department at COI
  • Dr Maciej Dębski – sociologist, founder and president of the Dbam o Mój Reach Foundation
  • Patrick Hałajczak – Chairman of the Board of the Warsaw Regional Branch Polish Psychological Association

 

The initiative is implemented in cooperation with partners: The Dbam o Mój Z@sięg Foundation as a substantive patron and the Ministry of Digitization and the Ombudsman for Children as honorary patrons. The webinar starts on Tuesday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m.
