The Ełk Cultural Centre invites you to a performance "Skłodowska. Radium Girl" directed by Agata Biziuk, which will take place in the October 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the spectacle hall of the Ełk Center Culture. The performance lasts 90 minutes, and tickets at the price of PLN 15 are available at the ECK ticket office. The performance is aimed at organized groups aged 16+.

The event is part of the 6th edition of the Ełk Meetings Fourth Wall. Art inspired by Maria's biography Skłodowska-Curie touches on the topics of broadly understood freedom, women's rights, crossing borders and privacy of public figures. Perversely, he takes up issues related to overgrown egos and ambitions, and the tendency to education to encapsulate human life in simple formulas.

The performance, produced by the Papahema Theatre, was awarded with Jury and Audience awards at prestigious festivals theatre in Poland. Its implementation was possible thanks to the support of the City Białystok, the Marshal's Office of the Podlaskie Voivodeship and the National Freedom Institute.
